Luke 9:10-17

Da Da taught on Jesus feeding 5000 people on Sunday. He hasn't taught in church since I was born. I can feed one person...me. Well, I also feed my bears and other animals on occasion.

Typing Practice

After spending a fun filled day caring for her stuffed bears with Daddy, Elsa decided to teach some of her toys to type. Others, unpictured, included Barbie, Baby Doll, and Mr. Giraffe.

"Yes"

Okay, have to follow up with a Yes post.

"Elsa, do you want to take a bath?" "Yeaaaaa"

"Elsa, do you want to read a book?" "Ya"

"Elsa, do you want to go on the swing?" "wee wee"

Other things Elsa likes: walks, music (she asks for it all the time), dancing (whenever there is music), playing with friends, walking, sliding, kids, eating - "eat eat", and the library. She often combines her two favorite things by eating food that she sees in books - as in literally trying to eat it off the page.

"No"

Elsa is saying "no" more often recently. She has said it before, but it was very rare. Here are some examples.

"Elsa, do we need to change your diaper?" "No"

"Elsa, do you want to go read books and get ready for bed?" "No"

"Elsa, lets go inside" "No" "Elsa, please come inside." "No" "Elsa, we're going inside now."

To Elsa's credit, she says yes far more often than no.

Elsa is currently playing with her truck... "vroom vroom"

Summer fun days

This is the hike where we saw lots of fog and Daddy got bit by a poisonous spider. It was fun spending the day with my friends Quinn and Angela!

Da Coast

Elsa loves being at the "wa wa". She even sleeps easier if we tell her we are "going to the beach tomorrow." She wanted to go in whether she was wearing a bathing suit or overalls.

Road Trip #2

Elsa enjoyed her first foray into camping at beautiful Crater Lake. She loved hiking in the backpack, sleeping in the tent, getting dirty in general, and even survived a dip in the ice cold water! (Daddy jumped off a cliff into the water but Elsa, sadly, wasn't allowed to.)
