This morning, Elsa and Daddy made and threw snowballs. This evening we enjoyed an evening swim in an outdoor pool.
We hung out with grandma and grandpa R too.
It was a fun day!

This one's for you, Aunt Holly
Aunt Holly used to sing this song on the phone to Elsa from the far away land of Germany. Elsa usually sings the rest... like this: You never know dear, I guess I love you. Please don't take my sunshine away.
Is it spring yet?

So busy
My parents are so sorry they haven't been posting new pictures of me here. We all hope you are still checking in once in a while. Mommy and Daddy have been very busy with work lately and spend ALL of their spare time playing with me. Mommy is SO CLOSE to finishing a BIG project and her number one goal, after cleaning the house, is to update my blog more regularly.

Not quite ready for death?
We are contemplating waiting on the Easter story until next year... The other night we read from Elsa's storybook bible about Jesus and his disciples at the Last Supper, when Jesus told his friends that he had to die. In her bible it says that his heart had to break in two so that ours could be healed. Elsa was pretty disturbed by this. She said, gravely, "He should not die. He should put himself back together." We tried to explain that he would put himself back together, but she kept saying over and over, "He should not die. He does not want to die." She tends to get fixated on things and then she can't hear the rest of the story... like when we were reading about Zacheas, who is standing on a stool when he's talking to Jesus in the picture, and Elsa said about 50 times: "He should get down from there. Jesus should take him down." (The next day she said, "Let's see what's goin' on with Zacheas.") So... I think for this year, Jesus is not going to get up on that cross. We only have to skip two stories in Elsa's bible, I think. : )
