WooHoo! So much fun I slept all the way home!

I saw a 2000 year old Egyptian Mummy today, compared my hand to a dinosaur footprint, and wrote my very first word! I wrote both of the D's and told Daddy that those D's were for Dad. Then I drew two parallel lines and said "is that an A?" I know, I'm a genius. I know how to spell Elsa, Mom, Dad, and I want to learn Bear and Baby.




Mommy and I ran FAST to the fountain where I tried so hard to convince Mommy that the green, murky water was not too far down to touch. Then I had a little fun with Dad and fell down because I got "bizzy!"

I love birthdays

I helped decorate the cake. This was a joint party for Grandpa and Evan and there were 67 candles. We lit one for Evan but didn't light all of Grandpa's per Grandma's suggestion ("Do you really want that much spit on your cake?")

Welcome Friends... Goodbye Sun

Well, we decided to make Elsa's blog 'private' so it would not be available to everyone in the whole wide world. We hope it is not too much of a pain to sign in.

Fun Weekend

Elsa enjoyed the "reminder-of-summer" sun on Saturday. She did some awesome tricks on the trike at Grandma and Grandpa's:

Then we headed to the farmer's market to watch Grandma carry an egg on chopsticks in a farmer's relay (Grandma's team didn't win, but they raised a whole bunch of money for the local food bank). I still can't figure out why I couldn't be in the relay - here I am sitting on the bin of zucchini batons, and pouting a little:

This pumpkin was not the winner of the heaviest pumpkin contest - that one wouldn't come out of the bed of a truck without some help!

My cousing Evan followed me EVERYWHERE (even to the bathroom, where I strictly reminded him not to put his hands in the potty). Too bad Mom didn't catch any pictures of the two of us together.

In Bed

Elsa put her stuffed animals to bed. Notice that moose's bed is the dustpan.

It's cold out. Elsa and Moose are wearing their slippers this morning.
