A little gardening (including the transplanting of sunflower seeds, which, by the way, do not do well for long as indoor starts) was in order today to celebrate the first day of short sleeves.

Some random events to highlight the trip:

(above): I found a wild animal in a tree.

A goat played King of the Mountain with me.

Dad and I almost got blown out to sea on a beautifully (cold) sunny morning.

We visited China (town)... the oldest one in Canada.

Mom took this one for you at the summit of Beacon Hill park, Grandma R.

There was a play area on the LONG ferry ride. Good thing. Brrr.

Easter weekend

...And we're off to Fred Meyer. Don't worry, I've got my going out hat on just like any good Southern Belle should, and my shopping bag, too.

Somehow convinced Mom that I needed these sunglasses. What a pushover.

Went for a COLD walk at Boulevard. Brrr. Did someone say "spring?"

Grandma and Grandpa G. and Great Grandma came over today for Easter dinner and birthdays. I opened all of Mom and Grandpa's presents for them, wasn't that nice?
