First Day of School!

 In her classroom,

 and in the hallway with good friend from preschool Elliana. We went out for pizza and ice cream cones after school together. Mom's choice for a celebration! : )

Whistler

Summer adventures are about to come to a stand still next week (when sweet baby girl starts KINDERGARTEN, a whole new adventure!) and her parents trudge back to work.

But back to the real story: We saw three bears in Whistler! Didn't take pictures of any of them, but one lumbered right through this beautiful park:

 One was berry picking while we were on this hike:

And Joe came upon one on his bike. Yikes! 

Finally, Elsa would like y'all to know that our house has chicken pox.

Camping

 Our first overnight hike was a success. Just a teeny river to cross to get to the trail!

 Note the teddy in her backpack and the pink fishing pole stuck in Joe's.

 Look closely... yes, that's a black bear cub on the log!

 S'mores :)

 We had the whole lake to ourselves. Good thing, because there's only one campsite!

Fishing

 I caught my first fish on Grandpa's beach!

 ...and ate S'mores, of course. Mom never lets an opportunity for S'mores pass by.
