Christmas and New Year's Eve

 We hope this is a new Christmas tradition, Grandpa. Next year we expect a Santa hat, too.

 Elsa wasn't feeling too well at Christmas but managed to find some time to play with Dad.

 We celebrated on New Year's Eve with the folks on the East Coast and then got to bed at a reasonable hour. Mom thinks this is about the best idea ever.
