On our run this morning Elsa saw three bunny rabbits and a bunch of different birds. We stopped and watched the first rabbit and he actually came out of the brush to look at us. Must of thought Elsa looked harmless. Elsa, of course, can identify rabbits in books so it was good for her to see them hop around in "the wild". She saw baby rabbits at the pet store Saturday too!
We came home and read some books... while we were reading Yummy Yucky... she said, "Yucky" several times, surprising her daddy. It was very funny. Just goes to show how smart she is. : ) Mommy had her saying, "Yikes" the other day too!
One last fun story... this is a first. I asked Elsa if she was ready for her nap (which she is currently protesting from her crib) and she threw down her blankie and binkie immediately and picked out another book to read. Wow... smart kid.
