Lincoln has been coming to visit for two days now. Yesterday, Elsa had some very minor issues with sharing... but today when she got up, she was excited to see him. They even chased each other around the house for awhile. There was an awesome photo op at the park today, but alas, forgot la camera. They were both more interested in the backhoe that was working on some condos than the new beach ball we had to play with. It was fun... Lincoln even went down the big slide - (don't tell his parents). "Lincoln, up the stairs, down the slide." He would have preferred down the slide, up the slide. So, this is how societal expectations form... hmmm.
Favorite quote... don't have this quite right, but it went something like, "Lincoln and Elsa, there is more than one toy in this house!"
Favorite moment today... Elsa, carrying a diaper, tried to sneak up and grab Lincoln to change his. Usually it is the bear or bart simpson doll that need changing. : ) I should have let her try and carry him - that might have been funny - only for me though.
What I learned today... If getting everyone's breakfast ready is causing you tension, mix chocolate chips into your oatmeal as you mix applesauce or bananas into the kids cereal.
