Daddy is replacing a post in the basement, and it's been a bit of a fight. The first picture shows what the post did to Daddy. The second shows what DADDY did to the post. (I think Daddy's winning.) We burned the post's remains in the fireplace last night. Good riddance to rotten posts. All in favor of buying a new house next time say "Aye!"Mommy and I built a snowman while Daddy cleared a path for the car to go in our parking area for the first time since Dec. 17. Sadly, it appears that the snow is melting quickly. Bye bye, winter wonderland.
(News report: Mommy just looked out the window and pictured snowman is laying down on the stairs. Either he got tired, or the snow really is melting...)

That's a fabulous snowman! Abby made a mini version, but alas, he's all gone now. All the "Frosties" and "Rudolphs" are disappearing from the neighborhood too, so sad....Christmas let-down. Back to work and "school" tomorrow!
