Did you all know that I have fame in my family? My aunt, Bette Nordberg, is an author. She's written quite a few novels; her latest just came out last month. She writes books that are easy to lose yourself in - not works of academia, just fun books with themes that touch real women. This one is about a woman who, after losing her husband, decides to move with her young daughter to tiny Genoa Bay on Vancouver Island. She in turn meets all sorts of challenges but faces them with dignity, guided by her faith in God. I couldn't put it down. Sort of reminds me of the Jodi Picoult genre of realistic fiction.
